Jan 24: Project Review of 2747 San Pablo Green Housing
Livable Berkeley's Project Review Committee is considering the proposed project at 2747 San Pablo Avenue, where the existing commercial property is planned for mixed use development. SRM Associates has developed a proposal that incorporates green building principals, 20% inclusionary housing units and structural design that is well-integrated into the existing community. The Committee has recommended a few modifications, including softening the back of the building with increased articulation and landscaping, more natural lighting, flexibility with retail tenants and defensible parking spaces which are set back from San Pablo Avenue. Livable Berkeley has scheduled a follow up meeting with SRM Associates for Wednesday, January 24 at 7 PM, 1625 Shattuck Avenue, Suite 300. This meeting is open to all active Livable Berkeley members.
